Study Abroad (Bachelor¡¯s, Master¡¯s) World Mission Frontier has promoted African youth to study in Korea since 2004 with the aim of training not only for the future of Africa but also future leaders of the mission.
Over the 20 years from 2004 to 2023, 89 African youth completed college and graduate school in Korea. Bachelor's degrees and master's degrees from universities such as Handong University, Daegu University, Kosin University, Sogang University, Kangwon National University, Yesu University, Kyungpook National University, Youngnam University, Dongyang Institute of Technology, Seoul Theological University, Youngnam Theological University, Torch Trinity Graduate School of Theology, and Ewha Womans University etc.. After obtaining their degree, they returned home. Some of the international students even completed their doctoral studies with scholarships from Korean government. Starting in 2024, World Mission Frontiers stop scholarship support for undergraduate students. But it will be promoted through the support of sponsoring organizations, government scholarships and Korean churches sponsoring will be promoted.
Doctoral degree scholarship support World Mission Frontier is promoting the establishment of five universities in five African countries and has decided to provide scholarships to doctoral programs to secure professors. The doctoral scholarship program is scheduled to begin from 2024. |
